Florence

Florence is a beautiful city located in the north of the central region of Italy, capital and most populated city of the metropolitan city of the same name and of the region of Tuscany. It is famous for being the cradle of the Renaissance, an artistic and cultural movement that flourished in the 15th century and left a legacy of masterpieces of painting, sculpture and architecture. Among its most notable monuments are the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with its impressive dome designed by Brunelleschi, Giotto's bell tower, located in the Piazza Duomo. ; the Ponte Vecchio, the symbol of the city; the Palazzo Vecchio, seat of the municipal government, and the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museums in the world.
