Cannes

Cannes is a French city and commune located in the Alpes-Maritimes department, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. It is one of the centers of the tourist region of the Côte d'Azur or French Riviera and the annual headquarters of the European International Film Festival. Cannes has a population of about 70,000 inhabitants and an area of 19.62 km². Its climate is Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers and mild, humid winters.
