Day 1:

FLIGHT DEPARTURE TO SANTIAGO DE CUBA

Flight from city of origin to Santiago de Cuba*.

Day 2:

SANTIAGO DE CUBA

Arrival. Welcome to Santiago de Cuba. Transfer to the hotel and free time. Our guide will contact you at the end of the afternoon or through the information signs located at the hotel reception.


In the morning Tonight we will go to the Casa de la Trova, a meeting place for lovers of Cuban music, with its live performances.

Day 3:

SANTIAGO DE CUBA

We include visit of SANTIAGO, the second city of Cuba, city of contrasts, capital of son and revolution. 20 km from the city, among mountains, we will go to the BASILICA OF OUR LADY OF CHARITY OF COBRE, we will be surprised by the veneration that exists for the Virgin, patron saint of Cuba. After that we will go to the SANTA IFIGENIA cemetery, where Fidel Castro and José Martí are buried. We will also visit the Bacardí Rum factory and go to theMORRO CASTILLO, an impregnable citadel on a promontory declared a World Heritage Site and which houses an interesting Museum of Piracy. Lunch included. Free time in the afternoon in Santiago.

Day 4:

SANTIAGO DE CUBA - HOLGUÍN - BARIAY BAY - GUARDALAVACA

Among beautiful landscapes of tropical hills we travel towards the north coast. A walk through the quiet center of HOLGUÍN before continuing to GUARDALAVACA where we visit the archaeological park CHORO DE MAITA MUSEUM that protects the remains of a village and an Indian cemetery with remains of 62 human skeletons, and the TAÍNO VILLAGE that reproduces scenes of how the indigenous people lived. We know BAHIA DE BARIAY, in a magnificent landscape environment. Lunch included. Free afternoon at the resort next to the beautiful beaches of Guardalavaca. Dinner included at the hotel.

Day 5:

GUARDALAVACA - PUERTO PADRE - LAGUNA DE LA RONDA - CAYO COCO

We travel to the west of the island. Stop in PUERTO PADRE, a small city frozen in time that was once the largest sugar port on the planet. Lunch included en route. In LAGUNA DE LA REDONDA we will include a beautiful one-hour boat ride among the mangroves, foliage-covered tributaries and small inland lakes. After that, spectacular landscapes on the road that crosses the sea towards CAYO COCO -Arrival mid-afternoon- Dinner included.

Day 6:

CAYO COCO - YAGUAJAY - REMEDIOS

Free morning to enjoy the beach. After lunch - included - we will leave for YAGUAJAY, where the Camilo Cienfuegos museum-cemetery is located. Night in REMEDIOS, one of the most beautiful colonial towns in Cuba. Dinner included.

Day 7:

REMEDIES - MARCELO SALADO SUGAR CENTER - SANTA CLARA - HAVANA

On the outskirts of Remedios we visit the old Marcelo Salado sugar mill, an old sugar mill closed after the fall of the USSR, today a museum that shows us what traditional sugar production was like. We include a ride of about 20 minutes on an old train with a steam engine. After that we travel to SANTA CLARA, we visit the Constantino cigar factory Pérez (Montecristo and Partagás cigars). After the included lunch, we visit the Ché Guevara Mausoleum Museum. Continuation to HAVANA, upon arrival we will include a transfer in an old classic car to the San Carlos fortress passing through the boardwalk and we will attend to the cannon shot ceremony (entrance included). Return to the hotel (by coach or vehicle) and accommodation.
