What to see in Aragon?
Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar
According to an ancient tradition, the basilica was built in the same place where the Virgin appeared to the apostle Santiago, who was preaching on the banks of the Ebro. The first chapel in her honor was erected around the column or "pillar" on which the Virgin leaned. The building remained intact despite the missiles during the civil war, some say it was protected by her.

Seo del Salvador (Cathedral of Zaragoza)
The Seo del Salvador stands in the Plaza del Pilar, in Zaragoza. Its construction began in the twelfth century on an old mosque. Its style is mostly Romanesque since it was undergoing renovations until the 18th century. In fact, the spire that crowns the tower is Baroque and the sculptures that were added to it, from 1788. Zaragoza Expo Water Park
The Water Park is located on the Expo site, built-in 2008. This site is made up of different buildings of great beauty and originality: the Water Tower, the Bridge Pavilion and the Spain Pavilion and the Water Park of Luis Buñuel, the largest urban park in Zaragoza with a large green area that surprisingly has a river beach. In this 120-hectare park, there are a wide variety of activities to do as a family, including renting bikes, kayaks or swans to tour the park by the water. It also has a train, a multi-adventure park, botanical paths, water gardens and a sundial-Ferris wheel. The Zaragoza Aquarium is also located in this river park. You won´t be bored at the water park there is so much to do.
Zaragoza Aquarium
The Zaragoza Aquarium is the largest river aquarium in Europe with more than 300 river species in which you can also find Nile crocodiles, turtles, otters and even marmosets. This aquarium is located in the same area as the Expo and has a restaurant in the same building.
Zaragoza Expo Park
The Zaragoza Expo park opened in 2008 and this complex - together with the arrival of the AVE - gave the city a real boost, making it a benchmark in the organization of events and congresses. The enclosure is made up of different buildings of great beauty and originality: the Water Tower, the Bridge Pavilion, the Spain Pavilion and the Luís Buñuel Water Park, the largest urban park in Zaragoza with a large green area that has, surprisingly, a river beach.
