Day 1:

EDINBURGH

Arrival in Scotland and transfer to the hotel. We begin the route in EDINBURG, the capital of Scotland and one of the most active cities in northern Europe; The monumental center has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO; The castle dominates the city, its steep streets, its parks. Around 1:00 p.m., we include a panoramic tour with a local guide. Later we will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2:

EDINBURGH

With the group we will learn about the process of making Scotland's national drink, a whiskey distillery (entrance included), a beautiful liquor made from barley that is drunk not only in Scotland but also throughout the world, constituting its largest export. Rest of the day free to continue enjoying Edinburgh, stroll through its streets full of life and discover its rich historical and museum heritage.

Day 3:

EDINBURGH - THE KELPIES - STIRLING - PITLOCHRY - CULLODEN - INVERNESS

After leaving Edinburgh, we stopped to photograph THE KELPIES, huge sculptures of two horses with water heads from Scottish mythology. They represent the strength and beauty of horses, as well as their connection to water and land. We continue towards STIRLING, with its impressive historic center dominated by the great castle, one of the most important in Scotland having witnessed numerous historical events, including not only legendary battles but also the coronation of several of its kings. Reservation and tickets included. We continue our route north. Stop in PITLOCHRY, picturesque city in the center of the Scottish region where most whiskey is produced. Time to walk and have lunch. Continuing north, we stopped at CULLODEN, where one of the main battles in Scottish history took place against the British forces with a crushing victory for the English army. The battle had consequences for Scotland as it They imposed laws and policies that sought to suppress their culture and traditions. Arrival in INVERNESS at the end of the afternoon to the ̈Capital of the Highlands¨ where its castle stands out. We suggest enjoying a walk along the banks of the River Ness and the iconic suspension bridge. Note: depending on the time of year and sunlight, the stop in Culloden may be on Monday.

Day 4:

INVERNESS - EILEAN CASTLE- FORT AUGUSTUS - LAKE NESS - URQUHART CASTLE - INVERNESS

We have a stage full of emotions among very beautiful landscapes, forests, lakes, very sparsely populated lands and fjords in the north of Scotland. We know the disturbing Eilean Donan Castle, very picturesque, located in the waters of the fjord (entrance included). After that we traveled to FORT AUGUSTUS where we learned about the lock system; time to walk and have lunch. In the afternoon we continue towards LAKE NESS. We include a boat ride through the dark waters of the lake after including entry to the medieval URQUHART Castle. Accommodation in INVERNESS.

Day 5:

INVERNESS - FORT WILLIAM - INVERARAY - LAKE LOMUND - GLASGOW

Seguimos en una etapa de bellísimos paisajes. Efectuamos una breve parada en SPEAN BRIDGE en el monumento que nos habla de la segunda guerra mundial. Posteriormente paramos en FORT WILLIAM, centro turístico al pie del Ben Nevis, la más alta cumbre del Reino Unido. En ruta pasamos junto a KILCHURN Castle, hermosas ruinas junto a un oscuro lago. INVERARAY, muy pintoresco pueblo histórico junto al lago Fyne, destaca su gran castillo y sus tranquilas calles. Tiempo para almorzar. Regresamos contorneando el lago Lomond, uno de los más populares de Escocia. Llegada a GLASGOW a media tarde. Tiempo para pasear por el centro de esta activa ciudad.

GLASGOW
